of the Atlanta Chapter, Society of Government Meeting Professionals!
SGMP
is a nonprofit, professional organization whose members are planners
from federal, state, county and local government entities and
providers of meeting services and facilities. Our objectives are
to enhance the quality and promote the cost-effectiveness of government
meetings. Improving the knowledge base and expertise of individuals
in the planning and management of government meetings is achieved
by offering educational opportunities at chapter and national
levels. SGMP also provides a platform for the discussion of mutual
objectives and industry accepted practices for conducting meetings
of the government.
